Why should I consider sending my information to the Registry?  There have been many attempts to mis-represent/extort, some unauthorized cars &/or scam GMMG owners.  If the Registry has your information & E-Mail on file it can notify you if we find something out about your car that is questionable. 'When I was a child, I played as a child, now that I am a man it just costs a lot more!' Here goes!  This will be a learning experiance for everyone!  DISLCLAIMER & A FEW GUIDELINES GMMG Registry is dedicated to all GMMG Owners & in memory of Dale Earnhardt, David Saad (took some of the last photos of Dale - see DEI page) Dick Harrell & Fred Gibb. Please enjoy the site & share it with your friends. Let's keep it light & have some fun with it! This is not the place to bitch or complain!  If you have any issues you need to contact the vendor & not me. I am in no way affilliated with GMMG or anyone else. I am doing this on my dime, my time & I don't profit in anyway. I strongly feel this information needs to be perserved & archived for the future while the information is available. I DON'T HAVE ANY HIDDEN AGENDA OR MOTIVE OTHER THAN ENJOYMENT FOR ALL. Many people send information & photos. I appreciate hearing from the owners & espically the younger kids that want to learn. Most information comes from web research that I have been doing the last few years. Why do I do it?  I currently own 8 GMMG's & always had a difficullt time figuring out accurate information.  The 'GMMG Registry' has a lot of this information in one place for everyone to enjoy & learn from. A few guidelines / Q&A: Is the information going to be kept confidential?  Yes What does this mean?  Only first names & State will be on the site unless you request I post more information. If I have your information wrong, please let me know & I'll change it. It's impossible to follow the cars.  If you sell your car, please pass along to this site. I may have photos of your car while it was still @ GMMG I may have all the important info from Matt Murphy? Tag #, Date in - Date out - Miles in - Miles out - Order #, Last 6 of VIN, Color, Stripe Color, Roof, Trans, Selling Dealer & more How can I get information about my car?  You will have to prove to me that you are the owner.  I have most of the GMMG Door Tags so that's a place to start. Name address, phone, e-mail &/or photo to prove it's yuor car works also What is someone requests information about your car?  If I have your e-mail address I'll forward request to you & you can decide if you want to reply.  I will not get in the middle.  If I am unable to contact you, the request will go in the 'round-file' What if I don't want to participate?  OK this is a 'At-Will' site (I think this is the right term) Please understand that I am doing this to protect the information now & in the future (many years form now). I have been gathering information for a few years now & it's time to share it. What do I need for the GMMG Registry?    Photos, names, address, C, S, Z, E-mail address & other info for the Archives. GMMG For Sale?  Yes I'm attempting to figure out how to do this.  Ideas?  The software I'm using is very basic.  If you can develop something I'd be interested. The GMMG Registry attempts to record, document and archive all cars built by Matt Murphy & GMMG.  Whether a car is authorized or not authorized as long as it was built by GMMG it belongs on the Registry & archives.  For lack of a better term I have called them 'GMMG Wild Cards' becasue they may not fit in a normal catagory.  If you have any issues they need to be taken up with GMMG & not me.  I don't have any connection to GMMG other than having Matt's OK to do the Registry. Incorrect . . . GMMG is just GMMG does not "officially" stand for anything but a name......... . The "joke" was Go Matt Murphy Go . . .......... --or----  General Motors Marietta Georgia ..........  again not correct The real answer…….. . Nope.................you're all wrong. Originally Matt had a partner and his last name was George. So........................GMMG stands for George-Murphy Motor Group. Said he had a partner (originally) whose last name was George and G.M.M.G. stood for George-Murphy Motor Group. I've had some folks tell me that they thought it stood for General Motors Motification Group. I've also heard the same thing that you had quoted..........that it stood for "Go Matt Murphy Go". @ Carl Black Click - GMMG Blackbird (50 + 2 prototypes)	Welcome to the GMMG Registry . This site is dedicated to the owners of GMMG Cars & is work-in-progress'. . Please let me know if you have anything to add, corrections & photos. This is a start & at sometime in the future it will be passed along to someone that can do a better job. . In the meantime it's kind of cumbersome to use with a lot of key strokes. . If you know of softwae (like LS-1 Tech or Firehawk.org) please let me know. . I'm looking for someone to host this after I get it off teh ground.
