Congrats Jim on purchasing PE11. I saw it last year and it is one hot GMMG -- and in show condition.

Saturday - November 16, 2013

Ron called me this afternoon & said Jeff Gassen (HRE #2000 - 'thebodygod') picked up the car & is heading west.

Comment from Jeff...........

The Ltd Edition Camaro I picked up for my friend, Jim Smith only 3,200 hundred miles on it. I don't get why people buy cars like this and never drive them, then sell them and someone else will enjoy sitting behind the wheel.

It was sad to see it go but rather than sit like Jeff said I hope Jim will get to use it more than me.I had a good conversation with Jeff about how congested traffic is around here and how most people on the road here just dont know or respect what kind of cars we drive on the roads here in central NJ.It is very dangerous out here, they tailgate, cut you off, slam doors against your car in the parking lot and throw garbage and cigarette butts at ya out here.I am very scared sometimes to drive my classics and was very carefull not to follow anyone too close with the PE.Thats why the mileage is low on the car.But to Jim I hope he gets to drive it more than I did and have fun with it.Ron.

Thanks Ron.

I plan to drive PE #11 & have fun like I do with all my cars.

Jeff is delivering the car late Friday & I'll post some photos.

May not drive it still spring unless the roads are clear - snow on the roads now.

I can't wait for it to arrive!

Thanks again. Jim

Jeff & Tami Gassen arrived about 6 pm Friday - November 23, 2013

He forgot his keys 325 miles away - had to get a bolt cutter

The trailer sat locked up until Saturday morning. I woke up & still hadn't seen the car.

Santa came but I couldn't see what was in the tree/trailer.

The anticipation was worse than when I was a kid.

Finally he cut the locks off & there it was.

A 3,240 mile GMMG Performance Edition #11 Phase 2X6-500 hp Camaro

WOW!!! The car is amazing - never been rained on & spotless.

PE #11 is one of the best cars in the collection.

Thanks to Ron (former owner) & Jeff & Tami for making this happen.

It's good to be me! Thanks for making an old man smile & be super happy!

Jeff left his trailer keys @ home 325 miles away. Needed a bolt cutter & a gun on the locks.

By the way - PE #28 (SOM) is quite a bit louder - Dont' know why but it is.

Again a huge thanks to Ron for allowing PE #11 to join the collection.
