2000 Fall Chevy Vette Fest (Chicago, Illinois)
I just found a few pictures that I took at the Fall edition of the Chevy Vettefest that took place at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois November 18-19, 2000.
The pictures show a couple of GMMG Camaros that were a part of the special Super Car Collection display that included mostly late 60's and early 70's dealer specials like Yenko, Baldwin-Motion, Nickey, Dana, Harrell and Berger Chevrolets.
I believe the first one is a Millennium Yellow 2000 75th Anniversary Berger Camaro SS convertible. It was the only one built in this color and I believe it is #28. Correct,
The second one is a Navy Blue Metallic 2001 Berger Camaro SS with a white interior. The little white number on the bottom corner of the windshield looks like it identifies this one as #30. If so, I think this was the prototype for the 2001 model year cars. Correct
I would bet that since this event took place in November 2000 this was the only 2001 Berger Camaro SS completed at the time. Is this true?
