#28 PE (only SOM) Phase 2X-6 500hp - On the road video
Info from when I had the car for sale a few years ago.
…….from the Jim Smith GMMG Collection………..
2002 35th Anniversary GMMG Performance
Edition #28 Camaro SS
Only 50 PE’s were built by GMMG
1 of 1 – Only Sunset Orange PE built (most were red)
(A very rare, high horsepower & collectible GMMG)
Phase 2X-6 – 500 hp was completed in 2007 (Phase 2X with LS6 heads)
PE #28 has 44,250 miles BUT fewer than 5k on the engine upgrade.
6 speed – Hurst Short Throw shifter
Smoke Glass T-Tops – Leather – 4:10 gears – Special GMMG Suspension
1 3/4 ’ long tube headers & stainless steel GMMG open chamber exhaust
12 Disc CD Changer – Correct Red PE Car Cover & PE Floor Mats
New BFG g-Force 275/40ZR17’s on the correct GMMG Torque Thrust II’s with new Center Caps
The original Sunset Orange Metallic paint is amazing & always looks different depending on the light.
1st place at the first show – 2013 All Chevy Show in MN – Best 4th Gen.
History:
The original owner lived near GMMG & would visit often so the car always got the ‘TLC’ from Matt & little upgrades.
The Phase 2X6 500 hp engine upgrade was done in 2007 & since then less than 5,000 have been logged. (About 700 miles a year)
The owner traded in PE #28 & a ’70 Z-28 for a new 5th Gen. ZL1 & that’s how I was able to buy the car.
There were a number of small things that just were not right or were missing. I’ve spend numerous hours & money making the car 100% correct just the way GMMG built it.
I located possibly the last red PE Car cover on the planet
The correct Torque Thrust II wheels & new tires are on the car now
I had new windshield numbers & the air box decal reproduced
GMMG 'Phase 2X6' Performance Package (500 HP) includes
TTS Full length Ceramic Coated Headers & Cats
Phase 2X6 Cam Shaft - Phase 2X6 Hand ported throttle body
Phase 2X6 stamped & numbered Cylinder Heads with gaskets & head bolts
Phase 2X6 Chrome-Moly Pushrods - Phase 2 LS6 Valve Springs
Phase 2X6 Computer Recalibration with 6500 Rev Limiter
Red coated brake calipers – suspension upgrades
500HP hood Decal
Phase 2X6 Upgrade Cost - $7,990 + GMMG SS Package $9,995 = $17,985 for Upgrade to Phase 2X6 + Vehicle cost of $31,230
MSRP TOTAL - $49,215
Sunset Orange Metallic always looks different depending on the light & is a fantastic color.

On the road Video:
If you are looking for a very rare GMMG that rocks; PE #28 talks the talk & walks the walk.
GMMG’s are increasing in value & are good investments that you can drive because of the very low build numbers.
There is a very minor flaw - passenger mirror - inside was touched up.
You will love this super rare GMMG. No disappointments.

If you follow GMMG's you already know that Phase II & Phase 2X6 - 500 hp GMMG are selling for a lot more than PE #28
