Yes, I'm 150%+ totally car crazy!

Cars have been a huge part of my life since I was 10 & my grandpa taught me how to drive his '51 Ford Woodie. Things are way out of control now with 15. Remember.... 'He who dies with the most toys is still dead!' I'm having so much fun now. Retirement is fantastic & under rated.

I have to pinch myself all the time to see if this is real. I've been so fortunate to have owned so many awesome cars in my lifetime. I lost count somewhere over 125. Many were factory ordered with just the options I wanted - All but 3 were GM. I've had over 10 Vette's, sedan deliveries a few El Camino's, many Malibu's & Monte Carlo's, GTP's, Caddie's, 1937 Ford PU, muscle cars & a little of everything.

As Barry McGuire says - I'm a certified Car Crazy guy. 'WELL YA!'

Here are a few cars from the old days. I should have kept a few of the. I've always had multiple cars around - one is never enough.

The factory ordered 1968 Chevelle - '327' (3rd new car) - 4 speed - 3:31 posi - no power anything - bench seat - Tripoli Turquoise was the 'H' Pure Stock Record Holder @ Twin Cities & Northstar Dragways in 1968. Then a guy showed up in a '69 GTO - 400 & I could never beat him so I went water skiing. I owned the Chevelle for 33 years (Harley - 'harscars' owned it for a few years). To this day it is a true survivor - never been repainted - engine has never been apart - numbers matching. I sold it one night when we were all snowmobiling at our place in Wyoming near Jackson Hole. Too much wine I guess! The new owner pulled the engine & got a call a couple of days later saying it was ready. He was told clean it up & put it back in the car because it was perfect.

A true 'survivor'. (One I should have kept)

I had the '66 Impala (2nd new car) & '68 Chevelle (3rd new car) at the same time (Two is better than one & three is even better)

By the way - the '96 Master Craft Tournament Ski Boat has an Corvette LT-1 in it. (My 4th Master Craft)

Turning the board @ age 68

1971 El Camino SS '454' - 4 speed - Cowl Induction - a long restoration that turned out OK.

1962 SS '409' - 4 speed red on red Convert (another one I should have kept)

1954 Corvette & 1958 Impala I had in Key West while in the Navy from 1963-1967

1958 'Little Red Wagon' our tow car for the drag car we had in Key West.

1958 DeRay (my high school car) -1963 Plymouth Valiant Convert (my first new factory ordered car - just out of high school) - 1956 Sedan Delivery - 1965 El Camino

There were Vettes, many Monte Carlo's, Caddies ........ it just never ends.... I'm the luckiest guy in the world. I'm too old to even remember. It's been a fun ride. Thanks for all the fun! Jim

Awesome pics Jim! You've had a lot of neat cars!

I love the mastercraft... We had a Malibu ski boat and they're so much fun! Like muscle cars on the water
