Sam Bush

I did it.
For the last 2 years I have spent countless hours and thousands of miles chasing GMMGs across the country. With each car I’ve learned more, and with each trip I’ve met new people in the GMMG community.

I knew I had to get one. I’ve tried to buy a few now but never could close the deal, but last fall when I was offered this phase 2 car, it stuck with me.

I absolutely love the Fikse wheels on this car compared to the other ones. Unfortunately, last fall, I wasn’t ready to buy, and the car ended up selling.

For 6 months I was kicking myself for not jumping at the offer, and I was looking at every possible alternative GMMG to pursue. All worked out when I heard the car was coming back up for sale in better condition than before. Last month when driving Jim’s phase 2 Berger SS, I knew that the 435hp package was the one.

Now, at 24, I have purchased my first Chevy. my first Camaro. My first GMMG. I may not be the youngest to do so, but I worked hard for it, and it’s all mine.

2002 GMMG/Berger Hot Rod Magazine Edition #2000 has landed in Ohio.

I know this car has bounced around a lot in recent years, but it is nicer than ever. I may not own it forever, but I am happy to own it for a piece of its journey. After all, can’t stay with a phase 2 narrow body GMMG forever, right?
