Monday June 8
Been a blast..... Had an issue @ ZMaz Saturday - something let loose - car is being shipped to Mike Carnahan @ Vengeance for evaluation - more to follow - photos & video's after the 15th.
Saw Chris CO-99 today, Runnning all week with Mike - CETA BB #4 & Bob BB #30 convert - saw Charley Lilliard & Dennis Barker & Jim Holloway @ Mothers.

What Smith failed to tell ya'll is that he grabbed his 'D**k-Shift' rather then the 'Stick-Shift' and the C5 Vette motor went south.. :doh:. as in Ops! Trust me, I was there and hear the sad noises. However............
...All-in-all a Super Kool weekend and my Horsepower Over-load light is still On!

Had HRE 2000 on the lift @ Dale Earnhardt Chevy
Went to RCR shops & museum
Private VIP Tour & photo shool @ Charlotte Track & then lunck in their private club overlooking the track
NASCAR Hall of Fame
Hit the 'mother-load' with a private tour of Rick Hendricks car collection with Larrie Matthew's (has known Rick for over 60 years & his best pal)
Toured race shops for 24, 48, 88 & 5
Looking for a ride from the Dells toward Minnestoa as I am a passenger & HRE is 'dead-in'the-water', on a transport & heading to Vengeance Racing & Mike Carnahan.
The buzz........... Ron Pratt's collection will be selling @ Barrett Jackson @ 2015 Scottsdale. This will be a super big deal!

Charley Lilliard has the car now & is with Jim Holloway @ Mother's- search the internet for Optima Street Challenge to see it in action. - Awesome!
Mark is involved with testing the Z28 & has a lot of track time in the car.
So much power & brakes they were spinning the tires on the rim. What????? Even the Vett's don't do this.
GM fixed it by roughing up the bead area on the rims.

Spent the day in Blackbird #30 with Bob. In fun overload!
Long visit with Dennis Barker from Nickey.................. & the new 5th Gen Hot Rod Edition Camaro Nickey is building -(PR001) only 67 for 67 years of Hot Rod magazine...more will follow.
Talked to Charley Lilliard who now has Mark Stielow's 'Mayhem' - Optima Battery race Camaro that beats everyone.
Saw Troy Trapenier (sp?) - I think he built the most recent Riddler Award winning street rod of the year
Talked to Rob Kinnann from Hot Rod Mag about possibly coming to MN Fairgrounds next year as first leg after the dells & then head south to Iowa.
Will stop & see Trigger Wed. morning around 10 am - Meet # Exit 52 - first gas station - be there before 10 am.

Chassed Charley Lilliard in 'Mayhem' & Dennis Barker in the yellow Nickey for 60 miles today. That was no fun. YES IT WAS!!!!
In Huron, OH near Cedar Point - roller coasters look great - dropped off the 2 kids - Summit Park was very nice - drag racing was rain delayed.
On the way to Crown Point, IN in the morning .......... Will stop @ Trigger's around 10am
HRE is doing the Long Haul - been at every stop but no one can see it because it is tucked away in the Pilot Transport semi waiting to go to Vengeance next week.
