I vote for 6 speed manual. There is nothing like "rowing" through the gears. A manual transmission whether it be a 4 speed, 5 speed or 6 speed is just classic musclecar.
For a daily driver.......................particularly in city traffic.....................defintely an automatic.

I ALSO GIVE MY VOTE TO MANUALS FOR THE CONTROL, DOWNSHIFTS, SOUND, AND FEELING OF BEING CONNECTED TO THE ENGINE. I ALSO GREW UP WITH MANUALS, SO THAT IS A PART OF IT. MY 95 FIREHAWK HAD A 6 SPEED AND SO DOES MY CETA BLACKBIRD.

It depends. I love a manual trans but if you ever take the car to the local dragstrip and blow the dust out of the exhaust pipes, the automatic is king. I wish my car was a manual but being a Festival Car, Scott Settlemire would never order a manual trans in a vehicle that was going to have a NASCAR driver riding up high waving to the crowd.

Now for a tow vehicle or plow truck, the automatic is the way to go. I drive a 5 speed manual to work each day and never get tired of it. Traffic jams could be a concern.

I like both . . depends on the car and depends on what you want to do with it.
