....by... Jim Smith....Let's get the discussion on the table right now so everyone knows exactly where I stand on the subject & it never becomes an issue. I am being 'pro-active'.



Feel free to reply BUT the minute you go after anyone or go negative you run the risk of being blocked from the site. If we can't have a civilized discussion then don't post.



Let me start by saying I'm not the judge & jury. I am just reporting the information that is available at any point in time.



Here are some facts & misconceptions............



FACT - A few unauthorized cars were build by GMMG. Yes, this is true BUT they are still GMMG's.



FACT - I have the records, car numbers & door tag numbers from Matt. I have the documentation to back up what I say.

I have this for all but a very few cars that were built near the end.



FACT - I think I know about most all of these cars but may not be in a position to discuss them because of possible legal action that could be going on. (Not against me)



FACT - GMMG built them - authorized or not & this Forum is for everything GMMG.



FACT - There are many rumors from the "so-called-experts" that don't have a clue or just don't have it right.



FACT - I will not discuss anything about GMMG operations & what happened. It is not for me to say.



FACT - I will not discuss any of these cars at this time. If you have a question, post it & I will respond at a later time.



FACT - If you go after anyone or go negative on the site you run the risk of loosing your privileges here.



FACT - My cards are always face up for everyone to see. (Like it or not). For anyone that knows me you already know that I don't have any hidden agendas. What you see is what you get & I will respond to questions to the best of my knowledge.



FACT - As of December 1, 2012 I have not spoken or heard from Matt Murphy for over two years. My hope is that he will call sometime to say hello.



FICTION - I know where all of these cars are? False, I know where a number of them are & know who owns them. It's confidential information, sorry.



With all that said, please feel free to start the discussion & ask questions. My hope is that Mike Carnahan (Sponsor) will be able to help. He was @ GMMG & involved in these great cars.

I agree 100% with Jim. I'm an ole farm boy. If I deliver my prize Angus bull to Jim's farm to mate with a blue ribbon Angus heifer that Jim has that he an I both agreed on for mating......................and while my bull is there.................Jim throws him in with some of his other Angus heifers that Jim and I didn't discuss or agree on........ and my bull sires calves from these heifers.................the bloodline didn't radically change. My bull still sired the calves from all the heifers that he impregnated whether I "authorized" them or not.



I.................like Jim.....................won't debate with anyone whether what was done was right or not. The fact still is..................that it was done..................and they are still GMMG cars PERIOD ! ! ! ! The folks that own these cars are proud of them and rightfully so. They own a GMMG car no matter what anyone says. In fact................in time..................they may be worth more than any of our pure bloodline cars because they are few.....................and different than anything else.



To all of you GMMG owners that have a "WILDCARD" GMMG car.......................you are special........................and certainly welcome here on the GMMG Registry Forum Board ! ! ! ! ! !
