Nice car from a CA Collector.........
Another interesting story. I'd been visiting with the owners son-in-law in CA. He has more GMMG's. After the E-Bay auction ended I got a message from someone claiming to own the car & wanted a deposit from me. This went on & on & was a total scam. ** Buyer beware - do your homework before you send any money. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. The owner was as shocked as I was.... someone was trying to sell his car. If you need the owners phone # I have it - be sure you are talking to the right person. By the way - this is a nice DEI.

Since I had problems in the past with dead beat buyers, I want to know if you have the funds already or if you are sure that you can get finance. Also, it will not be available for pickup or shipping until full payment is received and cleared on eBay's side. You have 5 business days to pay.
I can only close this deal on eBay, because this way we can leave feedback each other and get protected using their payment system. There is an inspection period of 7 days after you will receive it. If you find anything wrong with it you have the right to send it back to me, on my own expense and get a full refund from them.
I will wait for your confirmation so we can go ahead with the transaction.

I think they wanted something like $35k - $39k the last time. The guy is a collector in CA with other GMMG's. Maybe someone could contact him for an update & mention the Registry? He has quite a collection. Jim
