My friend Eric (99legend2rZ here on the GMMG Registry Forum Board) owns the Hugger Orange Z/28 that Scott Settlemire (fbodfather here on the GMMG Registry Forum Board) selected to go on the Chevrolet Legends Tour in 1999 and 2000. Hopefully Scott will see this post and come in and comment too. After Eric purchased the car from the dealer, the dealer told him that it was a G.M. Executive car. Eric found some documents in the glove compartment signed by Scott Settlemire so Eric emailed Scott and Scott asked him to send him the VIN #. After Eric sent him the VIN # Scott got right back to him and told him that this was the car that he personally selected to go on the Chevrolet Legends Tour in 1999 and 2000. When the car was brought to Scott and prior to sending it on the tour, he thought that it just needed something more so he had the black stripes laid over it. Anyway...........................I"ll quit talking about my buddies car and let him and hopefully Scott Settlemire add to this thread. :D

Eric's car with J.D.'s (4th Gen Camaro Addict) GMMG ZL-1 Supercar and Jim's (daytonajim) GMMG Berger SS at the Northstar Camaro Club Car show this past summer in Stillwater, MN.

Eric found a 'needle in the haystack'. I met him, saw the car & we (Eric, JD & I) parked together at the NSCC 2012 Stillwater All Chevy Show. This is a very cool 4th Gen.

Like many cars you have no clue about the history until you start to visit. That's one reason I like showboards - they save a lot of questions. Thanks for sharing JD. Jim

I remember this car as I ordered it specifically for the Camaro Legends Tour. We upfitted it with a few accessories -the black stripes being one of the items. It was trailered all over the U.S. as part of the Legends Tour - and at the end, we reconditioned the car (as I recall, things like seat covers and carpeting from excessive wear of lots of people climbing in and out..................................BUT - that was a longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg time ago in terms of "Camaro" (with the advent of the 5th gen - my mind needs to be 'defragged'......)

This is the only photo I could ever find of the car when it was on the tour.

Scott, I never knew that the interior of the car was freshened up. So thanks for that information.
