REGISTER YOUR GMMG
Please register your car with the GMMG Registry on the Forum Board. Why? There have been instances where we needed to contact the owner immediately because someone was trying to sell their car or trying to scam using their car # or in a couple of cases the cars were stolen &/or recovered.
The Registry would like your contact info – Car #/model & Brass Door Tag #. Information is kept confidential & the only thing we share is first name & state unless the owners give the OK to share more info.
BUY OR SELL A GMMG?
If you are looking to sell or buy a GMMG please let the Registry know. We attempt to track the for sale GMMG’s & new owners. Often times we know of buyers looking for specific cars. The only income the Registry has is if we help buy or sell a GMMG & we receive ½ of 1% to help fund the Registry & Web Site.
GMMG cars for sale. Must include all information (i.e., price, miles, full description, contact information, etc.). IF YOU BUY OR SELL A CAR AS A RESULT OF INFORMATION OBTAINED IN THIS FORUM OR FROM ASSISTANCE FROM THE GMMG REGISTRY MANAGEMENT TEAM, YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO MAKE A 1/2% CONTRIBUTION OF THE SALE OR PURCHASE PRICE TO THE GMMG REGISTRY TO ASSIST WITH CONTINUING OPERATIONAL EXPENSES OF THE GMMG REGISTRY.
TOTALLED GMMG?
If a GMMG is totaled the Registry is requesting the GMMG Brass Door Tag so we can hang on to it in the Archives & keep others from re-using it on a non-GMMG.
GMMG INC. NAME & ALL TRADEMARKS
The GMMG Inc. name & all trademarks are owned by the GMMG Registry.
Unauthorized use of photos &/or parts is prohibited without pre-approval in writing.
Replicating or duplicating GMMG parts needs pre-approval in writing from the GMMG Registry
Badges - Air Box Decals - Dash Plaques - Window/mirror numbers
Brass Door Tags (once in a while) - Instrument Clusters - and anything else GMMG
There have been instances where someone will claim they have a ‘real’ GMMG & it is a fake/clone. An unsuspecting buyer may acquire the car only to find out it’s a fake.
If anyone ever has a question about the authenticity of a GMMG Contact the Registry.
Building an unauthorized GMMG clone is not acceptable
Anyone that has a GMMG clone they needs to identify it as a clone & not a real GMMG.
If you see someone or hear of anyone mis-representing their car as a GMMG or anyone attempting to make or sell GMMG parts that is not a GMMG Owner please notify the GMMG Registry. Why? The Registry is attempting to assist current & future GMMG Owners protect their investment.
CLONING?
There have been instances where someone will claim they have a ‘real’ GMMG & it is really a fake/clone.
If anyone has a question about the ethnicity of a car do your due-diligence & contact the GMMG Registry & check it out.
Building an unauthorized GMMG clone is unacceptable.
Anyone that owns a GMMG clone needs to identity it as a clone.
The Registry WILL NOT support anyone attempting to clone a GMMG. No parts, no assistance or help in any way. This policy is to protect the owners of GMMG’s.
MIS-REPSENTING A CAR AS A GMMG? - Reproducing or selling unauthorized GMMG parts?
If you see someone or hear of anyone mis-representing their car as a GMMG or anyone attempting to reproduce, make or sell GMMG parts please notify the Registry. WHY? The Registry is attempting to assist current & future GMMG Owners & help protect their investment.
The Registry Legal Consul is in Atlanta & will be notified if anyone is mis-representing a GMMG or building or selling non authorized GMMG parts.
If you have a question ask the GMMG Registry & get a reply in writing so there is no confusion.
