Not all GMMG T/A's are Blackbird's????

My comments on this topic......
.
Matt Murphy's intentions were to have TAs & Formulas fall into the general Blackbird category whether they came thru Carl Black or not.
If someone says GMMG Blackbird, there is brand recognition.
.
Matt sourced TAs & Formulas from many sources & dealers plus owners brought cars to GMMG to be upgraded into Blackbirds.
There is less confusion if these cars fall into the general category of Blackbird & then split out by model.
.
Example: CETA's fall into this category. Some came thru Carl Black & some did not.
.
35th Anniversary - Blackbird
.
I have not found any written documentation that states the Formulas not Blackbird's. Matt Murphy called them Blackbirds when we visited.

Does anyone have supporting documentation one way or the other? Let's see it.

If its easier to generalize and lump things together. Lets call ALL GMMG Camaros = ZL1s. Its easier and they all have brass tags so what difference does it make?

Collector Edition by Carl Black - the 1st 5 cars were never intended to be Blackbirds. They wore no Blackbird badges, floor mats, nothing.
35th Anniversary Firebirds - not a Blackbird. Again no badging mats, documentation, nothing related to a Blackbird.
Year One Formulas - not a Blackbird. Again no badging, mats, documentation, nothing related to a Blackbird. Half never even went thru GMMG.
Year One Blackbirds - Ohh yea, definitely a Blackbird.
Blackbirds - the original and definitely a Blackbird.

Again lets do the same with Camaros. They are ALL ZL1s! There are wide-body ZL1s, Performance Edition ZL1s, Hot Rod Magazine ZL1s, DEI ZL1s. They are all ZL1s....
