Hawks vs Originals-
Close but not exact. weigh slightly less, slightly wider, slightly different angle on the cut.
Great replacement to drive around with and save your originals from wear & tear.

I wish they would make that same tip with a 3 inch inlet
.
Good to know. I assumed they would be exactly the same
Also a note to those with some higher miles on their cars. Some of the original tips were prone to cracking at this weld. I know a couple owners that have completely lost a tip from this issue.

True story! Had this happen when I owned #3. Weld broke and the tip completely unraveled while I was on the highway. I retrieved it and had it repaired but also got a new set from the original manufacturer.

They do definitely appear to be great quality. But yeah, I like the GMMG ovals better. They have more of a flattened out top and bottom and they’re just really unique in that respect.

Thanks for posting. The original manufacturer made a slight design change after GMMG closed. I'd estimate somewhere in the 2012 range, they ended up being slightly closer in size and shape to Hawks latest version.

I just got mine today, agree on everting you are saying. Good quality but not 100%
