How many ZL1's had C5R motors installed?

Great question Nate. I will start the discussion & others can add.

This will take some time to count just the ZL1 C5R's. GMMG planned to install 100 C5R engines in the cars.

There is a photo somewhere (I am currently looking for that photo) that shows a stack of C5R's @ GMMG with one missing at top right.

#100 C5R should have gone in DEI #20 & that never happened.

It appears around 31 to as many as 37.

Matt Avery did the research &^ indicated 36 of the 69ZL1's plus prototypes got C5R 427 motors.

I'd go with Matt's # of 36
