#7 American Car Collector magazine article on ZL-1

So................on January 24th, Jim (daytonajim) receives an email from Patrick Smith who writes for Keith Martin's American Car Collector magazine and he is requesting assistance in writing an article about GMMG ZL-1's as he has been assigned to write an article about ZL-1 #7 that crossed the block at the Russo-Steele auction in Scottsdale in January of 2014. Jim told Patrick that he would recommend that Patrick talk to me as he thought I would be more knowledgeable about the ZL-1's than he was. So in a series of telephone calls and emails...................I help answer questions that Patrick has regarding the 2002 GMMG ZL-1 Supercars.

Aaron.......................can't answer that. My wife got it for me yesterday at Barnes and Noble and they had like two or three on their magazine rack.

Hello Everyone. I have been busy writing articles for various publications and only now have I had time to catch up on reading.

I'd like to let everyone know and thank JD for assisting with the GMMG ZL1 Camaro profile. JD helped me navigate the various levels of GMMG options

and even phoned me. I was unable to get hold of Vengeance Racing to confirm who actually built the engine in the Russo Steele Camaro but

the auction listing seemed incorrect so I couldn't add any details from the auction listing on that. I wanted the article to be something that

GMMG members could be proud of.

Thanks for assisting in spreading the GMMG story Patrick. We need everyone's assistance in getting the GMMG information out to the public.

JD knows of many super rare GMMG's for future articles (including his Dick Harrell #30 - 1 of 30)

JD (4th Gen Camaro Addict) is the ZL-1/Dick Harrell guy.

Jim (GMMG Blackbird) & Aaron (Blackbird34) are the GMMG Blackbird guys.

I (daytonajim) know a quite a bit about the Berger SS's, the Hot Rod Magazine & Performance Editions

JD & I both have DEI GMMG's and J.D. also owns a Tom Henry Racing Camaro SS too.
