Re: #26 PE - no photo
I do own the car. I bought that Camaro in Nov. 2001 from PLAZA CHEVROLET OLDSMOBILE CADILLAC IN St-Laurent, Québec.
In 2002, I started looking for a good place to upgrade my car and did not find any that were suitable. So for the next four years, I forgot about that.
And one day, while reading an article in the magazine CHEVROLET CAMARO, I read about GMMG, what they were doing and I decided to make contact with them.
I went to see my good friend Albert Tamilio, the fleet manager at PLAZA, and asked him to place the call for me. He did and spoke with Matt Murphy, explaining my situation , what I could afford, and this is how it all started. We made an appointment and two days later, I drove down to MARIETTA GA. I had a hard time trying to find 4190 JVL Industrial park drive, but I got there.
Once there, they took my car inside the shop and started working on it immediately. I only had 3 days before driving back to Ste-Therese where I lived. They installed the package in time, and I was on my way back.
Since then, I maintain the car the best I can. The car spent all winters indoor and it's never been driven in the rain.
I love that car & I am now 78 years old.
That is how PE#26 (GMMG #21325) was borne.
Can you help me get the car registered?
Thank You.
PIERRE
