Hi all - delighted to see a website that celebrates the GMMG Camaros and Firebirds!

I clanced thru the various sections and threads - but I didn't find one for the Z7Ds!

Here's a pic:

(this one happens to be my personal Z7D -aka "Lord Quicksilver" )

We built 57 of them for the 2002 Brickyard 400 ( ..the 35th Anniversaries were used at the 2001 Brickyard 400)

They were Silver SS Converts - most with Automatic -but RPO Z7D built a "Brickyard 400" Package - which forced on the 35th Anniversary Black/Machine finished wheels.............

We built Z28s with similar graphics for the 2002 Indy 500 - and a few of the Z28s found themselves forced into duty at the Brickyard with new graphic panels installed............

Welcome to the GMMG Forum Scott. You have so much information to share & enlighten us with. I know others would like to know how you fit into the GMMG program & the history with Matt. I know a lot of it but many others do not. I can't wait for your 'Member Introduction' thread.

If my memory is right this is Z7D #62 (Scott's). I talked to Scott a few times when the car was for sale @ Tom Henry & then decided I wanted to stay with only GMMG's.

There are a few Z7D's (GMMG's) scattered in various threads. As far as I know only a few were GMMG's. This is correct, right? (3 or 4??)

Here's GMMG - DHPE #4 that Derek owns.........

PE #15 & #16 are Z7D's. I have more on the Registry site (Brickyard & Performance Edition).......

We are waiting for more owners to come forward & appreciate any information that you may be able to share with everyone.

Again, welcome. Jim

Hello Scott!

Like Jim said, we definitely didn't forget the Z7Ds, I mentioned on the "35th PE" section abot Z7D #56, #57 who eventually became PE #15, #16. We own Z7D #4 and had it sent to GMMG a few years ago where Matt installed a package that he called Dick Harrell Performance Edition (DHPE), there were only suppose to be 15 built but it looks like only two were built. Our Z7D #4 became DHPE#4.

I hope to see you on this forum as I know you and Matt colaborated on some of these packages thus probably have some good knowledge or stories to tell.
